Getting started
Do I need to be technical?
No. Your developer or agency connects the site once. After that, if you can describe the change you want, BriskCMS can make it.
Can it create new pages?
Yes. New pages are built only from sections your designer has already approved, so they always match the rest of your site.
Does it handle SEO?
Yes. Page titles, descriptions, schema markup and sitemaps update automatically with every change.
Safety and control
Can the AI redesign my website?
No. BriskCMS can only edit content: text, images, blog posts and pages built from approved sections. Design, layout and code are off-limits.
What if I make a mistake?
Nothing goes live without your say-so, and you can roll back to any earlier version in one step.
Can I control who publishes?
Yes. Set roles for who can draft, who can publish and which pages each person can edit.
Can several people edit the same site?
Yes. Everyone works in their own assistant, and the version history shows who changed what and when.
Compatibility
Does it work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Yes. BriskCMS connects through MCP, the open standard both assistants support.
How is this different from a CMS with an MCP server?
Webflow, Sanity and Storyblok have added MCP servers, but that’s a new door into the same building: you still pay for the platform and its seats, and those servers are made for developers, without guardrails against accidental changes. BriskCMS is AI-only. It’s built for content editors, and the guardrails come first.
What kind of websites does it work with?
Version 1 is made to work with fast static websites built using Astro and hosted as a static website (e.g. AWS S3). We’ll be adding support for other static site generators like Next.js, Hugo, Jekyll and Eleventy soon.
Can developers still edit the code directly?
Yes. BriskCMS only edits content, so your developer keeps working on design, layout and code as usual.
For agencies
What does setup involve for our developer or agency?
They connect your Astro site to BriskCMS once and decide which sections can be used to build pages. After that, your team edits from Claude or ChatGPT.
Can our clients break the sites we build?
No. Clients can change content, but layout, design and code are locked, and every change can be rolled back in one step. See BriskCMS for agencies.
Launch and pricing
When does it launch?
BriskCMS is in private beta. Join the waitlist and we’ll be in touch when early access opens.
How much does it cost?
Pricing will be announced before launch. It will cost less than a typical Webflow or traditional CMS plan, because there’s no dashboard to run and you use the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have.
